Second assortment of subject wise assignments

Dear Parents,

Second assortment of subject wise assignments have been uploaded on our school website. You are requested to download these assignments for your ward. These assignments can easily be solved once a student has attentively watched all the video lectures of a particular subject. To enquire about the state of health and well-being of our students as well as to to assist you to remove any of your doubts or confusions related to video lectures, notebook completion, or solving the first and second assignments, our staff members will make phone calls to all our parents from 14th onwards.
The process of contacting you for your assistance and support will take a week i.e till 19th of this month. You will definitely receive a call within this time window, incase you don't hear from us within the stipulated time frame you are requested to approach us through our school email id : amritindoca@yahoo.co.in

Keeping in mind the suggestions of our parents we have decided to extend the deadline of submission of the assignments till 24th April. No assignment will be accepted thereafter. Students can then learn the question-answers of two chapters from 25th April till 30th April. Each month teachers will try to cover two chapters of every subject. Since these assignments will compensate the missed weekly tests we therefore request you all to kindly ensure that your ward invest some time to solve and submit his/her assignment within given time frame. Our teachers will provide the checked copies of first assignments through emails till 27th of this month.

Every parent is requested to ensure that every child invests atleast three hours into their studies everyday. Take care of our students, we miss their laughters, their beautiful smiles, eyes full of hope and their mischiefs. I am eagerly waiting to see my dear students. Lots of love and wishes for them.

ਸਾਡੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ ਵੈਬਸਾਈਟ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਦੂਜੀ assignment ਨੂੰ ਅਪਲੋਡ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਰਡ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਅਸਾਈਨਮੈਂਟ ਡਾਊਨਲੋਡ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਲੈਕਚਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ You Tube ਚੈਨਲ ਤੇ ਪਾਏ ਹਨ, ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖ ਲਏਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ assignment ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਤੰਦਰੁਸਤੀ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਲੈਕਚਰ, ਨੋਟਬੁੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ, ਜਾਂ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੀ assignment ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਜਾਂ ਭੁਲੇਖੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ, ਸਾਡਾ ਸਟਾਫ 14 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਤੋਂ 19 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਤੱਕ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੋਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਹਫਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਯਾਨੀ ਇਸ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ 19 ਤਰੀਕ ਤੱਕ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਤ ਤੌਰ ਕਾਲ ਆਵੇਗੀ, ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਈਮੇਲ ਆਈਡੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। amritindoca@yahoo.co.in

ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਝਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਅਸਾਈਨਮੈਂਟ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਆਖਰੀ ਮਿਤੀ 24 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਤੱਕ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਕੰਮ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਫਿਰ 25 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਤੋਂ 30 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਣੀਆ ਕਾਪੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਲਿਖਤ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਉੱਤਰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹਰ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਹਰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਦੋ chapter ਕਵਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਅਸਾਈਨਮੈਂਟ weekly ਟੈਸਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਰਪਾਈ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਵਾਰਡ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਾਉਣ। ਸਾਡੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਇਸ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ 27 ਤਾਰੀਖ ਤੱਕ ਈਮੇਲਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਅਸਾਈਨਮੈਂਟ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੈੱਕ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਕਾਪੀਆਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

ਹਰ ਮਾਂ-ਪਿਓ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਬੱਚਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਵਿਚ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਘੱਟੋ ਘੱਟ ਤਿੰਨ ਘੰਟੇ ਲਗਾਏ। ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਕਰੋ, ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਸੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਮੁਸਕਾਨਾਂ, ਉਮੀਦਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਰਾਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਂ ਹਰ ਪਲ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਬੇਸਬਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।

Dear Parents

In the wake of Covid 19 Pandemic, we are staying and working from our homes in order to be safe and to keep our nation safe. Although AICA has instructed its staff to stay at home but it is being ensured for the sake of our students that we are positively constructive through the use of technology. During the lockdown period we had already uploaded subject wise assignments for every class.

But all through this time, our class X had just finished their board exams.The academy was of the view that after April 15 the lock down would be over and we would take up the process of admission of XI class. But with the extension of lockdown period we ,as a school, we deem it our responsibility to make sure our XI students carry on with their provisional online classes in all streams.

Dear students by this Saturday 18th April 2020, our teachers will try to upload first lesson of every subject on our official YouTube channel. Students can subscribe and have an access to the playlist with XI lectures.

Dear children ,it is advised here that if you are still in dilemma about the choice of subjects or stream do not worry or panic. Watch all the lessons and then figure out yourself which subjects grabbed more of your attention. Which subjects excite you more and which you enjoyed more while studying. Then share you thoughts with your parents. Luckily you have more time to decide but beware it should not make you indecisive.

So after these lessons you will receive assignments and then second lessons. Teachers will also interact personally with you soon.

Now we would make the best use of technology and take our studies sincerely.

Submission will be in form of separate PDF documents for each assignment which are to be created by scanning the assignments on mobile phones by mobile applications such as Cam Scanner. These pdf will be mailed to the subject teachers on their respective mail id. Demo video for it had already been uploaded on our youtube channel.

On completion of each chapter, creative worksheets, assignments or activities will be given which the students will complete under the guidance of their parents and submit online. This will help children spend time available in the best possible manner with their teachers. Parents can also encourage the children to read books, write poems, or design creative games.

No doubt the situation is challenging but there is virtually nothing which cannot be done online. Technology in the 21st century is a blessing. Lets just go ahead and connect with each other to make the most productive use of this time. We shall see each other very soon, till then stay safe, positive and proactive.

ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਵਰਤਣ ਵਿਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ, ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਿਲੇਬਸ ਪਾਠਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਕੀਤੇ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕਰਣ ਗੇ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਿੰਕ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਈ-ਮੇਲ ਆਈਡੀਜ਼ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

 

ਹਰੇਕ ਚੈਪਟਰ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਣ 'ਤੇ ਸਿਰਜਣਾਤਮਕ ਵਰਕਸ਼ੀਟ ਕੰਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਜੋ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਰਹਿਨੁਮਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਇਹ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਕਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਮਾਪੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ, ਕਵਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਲਿਖਣ,ਜਾਂ ਸਿਰਜਣਾਤਮਕ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਇਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਵੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।

 

ਪਿਆਰੇ ਮਾਪਿਓ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਪੁਛਗਿੱਛ ਹੈ ਸੋ ਨਵੇਂ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੇ roll no.ਨਾ‌ਲ ‌‌‌‌‌‌ਸਬੰਧਤ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਾਰ ਪੋਸਟ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਦਾਹਰਣ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਨੋਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਾ ਜਮਾਤ ਦੂਜੀ- ਏ (ਸੈਸ਼ਨ 2019 -20) ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਬੱਚਾ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ (2020-21) ਵਿੱਚ ਤੀਜੀ-ਬੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਬੱਚਾ ਚੌਥੀ-ਐਫ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਨਵੇਂ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਵੀ-ਜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਗੇ੍ਡ ਨੌਵੀਂ ਤੱਕ ਇਹ ਸਮਾਨ ਰਹੇਗਾ।ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ roll no. ਉਹੀ ਰਹੇਗਾ।

Dear Parents,

In the wake of Covid-19 Pandemic, we are staying and working from our homes in order to be safe and to keep our nation safe. Although AICA has instructed its staff to stay at home but it's being ensured for the sake of our students that we are positively constructive through the use of technology. During the lockdown period we had already uploaded subject wise assignments for every class. These assignments are to be submitted by March 31,2020. Submission will be in form of separate PDF documents for each assignment which are to be created by scanning the assignments on mobile phones by mobile applications such as Cam Scanner.

To help students utilise their time better, teachers will be sharing the recorded videos of the syllabus lessons as planned by them via our youtube channel, links of which will be shared by them with the students through their email ids.

 

On completion of each chapter, creative worksheets, assignments or activities will be given which the students will complete under the guidance of their parents and submit online. This will help children spend time available in the best possible manner with their teachers.

Parents can also encourage the children to read books, write poems, or design creative games.

 

Dear Parents, there is another query repeatedly posted by the parents pertaining to the section of their child in the new session.

It maybe noted that if a child was in II A (session2019-2020) then the child in session (2020-2021) will be in III B and if the child was in IV F then it will be V-G in the new session . It will be the same till Grade IX. However the roll no. will remain the same.

 

No doubt the situation is challenging but there is virtually nothing which cannot be done online. Technology in the 21 st century is a blessing. Lets just go ahead and connect with each other to make the most productive use of this time.We shall see each other very soon, till then stay safe, positive and proactive.

Dear Parents

We have reached halfway through our current academic session 2019-20. First Term examinations are round the corner.

Its time to focus our attention on "What our students are learning" along with the skill sets they need to acquire. It has become important to design focused learning, assessment and evaluation format which will equip our students with knowledge, analytical skills, understanding skills, application, imagination, curiosity and finally enable students to create new knowledge. With communication and collaboration at the helm of it.

Focusing more on the learning outcomes, The Term-1 question papers will help the students to prepare themselves for the year end examination. Our long term goal being to prepare our students for competitive exams in all fields.

Date sheet for September exams has been given to the students. As far as the design of the paper is concerned, it will be a three hours paper with Max. Marks being 100. 80 marks are for the written paper and 20 marks internal assessment.

Internal assessment will include marks for enrichment activity, weekly tests, Holidays H.W and Note-Books.

The other part of the paper will have questions, which will test the knowledge part of the subject i.e 40% for the work done in the books & note-books (Direct Questions) pertaining to the subject .(This would extensively cover back exercise questions and definitions etc) from the text Questions will be with the words like: define, identify, describe, recognize ,explain, illustrate, quote.

20% Questions will be understanding based. . (This is to check how deeply child understand the concepts taught in the class)Questions will be based on Summaries, Interpretation, Classify, Compare, Contrast, Infer, Relate, Extract, Paraphrase, Cite

15 % Questions will be "Application" based (This is to check if a child knows to apply the knowledge provided by the subject and taught by the teacher) framing of the Questions will be like-> Solve, Change ,Relate, Complete, Use, Sketch, Articulate, Discover, Transfer.

15 % Questions will be "Analyse & Evaluate" types to know if a child can recollect the knowledge from a bigger picture or frame a bigger picture of knowledge shared in bits and pieces.

10% Questions will be based on "Creativity" this will be is to review if a child has evolved critical thinking or not, so that attention can be given to this area.

It is dilemma among the students about competitive exams like(NEET, JEE, NDA exams) from where to get their preparation done. They are left with no other alternative than to go for coaching classes. So, it is advisable for the students to stick to their NCERT books from class VI-XII which covers all aspects of competitive exams. 85% of the competitive exams syllabus is covered by NCERT books.

Keeping in view the competitive exams we have changed the pattern of evaluation so as to prepare the child for all challenges.

The paradigm shift which we are witnessing today in education will bring a sea change in the way our students will learn thus paving way for future opportunities. It will be little unusual and new this time, but over a period of time our children will become more creative and develop a lot more skills.

CHANGES IN SCHOOL TIMINGS

Dear parents

We have been receiving regular requests of parents to reduce the timings of the academy as their wards reach home very late. Data from parents have been taken from the “FEEDBACK” link, which is active on school web-site.

As per the feedback received and request of the parents. The school authorities have decided to reduce the timings w.e.f May1,2018

The new timings will be:

7.45 am to 2.20pm for classes (I to X)

7.45 am to 12.30 pm for classes (Nsy,LKG,UKG XI & XII)

This is regular day school timings. No Home-Work periods will be available to the teachers.

It will now be the responsibility of the parents to see that, their ward completes the assigned work at home.

Home Work will be assigned as per the schedule printed on page no 39 of the school diaries. Children will be carrying their scheduled books only, daily

SUMMER VACATION

Dear parents

Summer Vacations are round the corner and happiness & joy is in the air. There has to be fun balanced with rigorous work. Summer holidays are synonymous with relaxation. It is the time to use the leisure time, to explore within, pursue hobbies, build & nurture relationship, informal learning and explore the world.

Dear students, many of you must have planned visit to new places, your relations and may be undertake a journey. All these are branches of education .Besides outings; you will also plan a fixed time schedule to complete the tasks systematically. Read knowledgeable books which will develop your mind & outlook in an effective manner.

The summer holidays will be from June 01.2017 (Thursday) to July 08.2017 (Saturday). The academy will reopen on July 10.2017 at usual timings.(Monday)The first Parent teacher Interaction is scheduled for May 31st.2017 (Wednesday) Timings- 8.30am to 11.30am.

However, the administrative office will remain open during the holidays from 8.30am to 12.30pm

The holidays homework will be uploaded on the school website and in the Amrit Indo Canadian App. Students & Parents will visit the site: www.amritacademy.com and download the homework sheets. The students will complete the homework and submit it by July-10 & 11.2017.
