Amrit Indo Canadian Academy added another illustrious feather to its cap as it marked a remarkable presence in the National Level Gatka Tournament held under the aegis of the Punjab School Games in New Delhi from 22 April 2025 to 27 April 2025. This prestigious event witnessed the participation of 15 formidable teams from across India, showcasing the martial prowess and traditional valor of Gatka. The academy takes immense pride in announcing that Tanvir Singh Gill (XII-E Commerce), Sports Captain of the academy, clinched the Bronze Medal, demonstrating exceptional skill, discipline, and determination. His performance stood as a testament to the rich cultural heritage and indomitable spirit nurtured by the academy. On this celebratory occasion, the President of academy, S. Harminder Singh, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Tanvir, stating, "Our students continue to carry the legacy of excellence forward, not just in academics but in traditional sports that define our cultural identity. Tanvir’s achievement at a national platform is a moment of pride for us all." Ms. Jaskiran Kaur, the Principal of the Academy, also expressed her admiration, adding, "This victory is symbolic of the dedication, discipline, and unwavering focus instilled in our students.
