Computer Department Organizes PPT Competition

AICA's Computer Department Organizes PPT Competition for Class 6th on the Occasion of Baisakhi Ludhiana, 19th April 2025 — On the vibrant occasion of Baisakhi, the Department of Computer Science at Amrit Indo Canadian Academy (AICA) successfully organized a PowerPoint Presentation Competition for Class 6 students. The event aimed to blend the festive spirit of Baisakhi with digital creativity, research, and communication skills. Approximately 28 students enthusiastically participated, presenting their work with creativity, confidence, and a deep understanding of the festival’s importance. The topics given to the students included: The Story of the Khalsa – Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the Birth of Khalsa in 1699 Baisakhi and the Harvest Season – Why Farmers Celebrate it as a Thanksgiving Festival The Golden Temple & Baisakhi – Special Celebrations at Harmandir Sahib The History and Significance of Baisakhi The competition was judged based on content, creativity, presentation skills, and design, with a total of 50 marks. The respected judge for the event was Mr. Jasvir Singh, who appreciated the students' sincere efforts and innovative presentations. Mrs. Jaskiran Poonam, Principal of AICA, congratulated all the participants for their outstanding performances and encouraged them to continue excelling both academically and creatively. She highlighted how such activities help in nurturing students' confidence, public speaking skills, and cultural awareness. The event was a great success and left everyone inspired by the young learners' enthusiasm and talent.
