20th Investiture Ceremony

Amrit Indo Canadian Academy witnessed its 20th Investiture Ceremony on 25 April 2025 with customary pomp and show. The programme commenced with the recital of the shabad by the Academy-Choir. The function marked the formal decoration of the appointees with each being pinned a personalized-designation-plate. The School Captain, Vice Captain, the House Captains, Vice House Captains and the Sports Captain got honoured with designation-sashes of their respective House colours along with the designation-plates. Recipients were accorded a warm ovation as they walked up to the podium to be formally decorated. The Oath was administered to members of the School council. Avnoor Kaur, the School Captain and Sukhmanpreet Kaur, the Vice School Captain won many a heart with their motivational speeches. The occasion saw all appointees supporting broad smiles as a clear reflection of their sense of achievement. Speaking on the occasion, the President of the academy, S. Harminder Singh said, "May this ceremony mark the beginning of a journey where each young leader rises with purpose, passion, and pride." The Principal, Ms. Jaskiran Kaur, congratulated the newly appointed members besides exhorting them to work as a cohesive team to further the interests of the school. The curtains were drawn on the function with the National Anthem and a cheerful photo-session.
