Details: Amritians displayed their adroitness at the Wako India Federation Kickboxing Cup 2019 held in Dehradun where their dexterous kickboxers won 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals in different weight categories. Representing Punjab at national level, Manjot Kaur, Navjot Kaur and Harman Singh clinched gold medals in their respective weight categories by beating Uttrakhand, Telangana and Manipur respectively in their final duels. Tehleen Maan and Diksha laid their hands on silver and bronze medals respectively. The Principal, Ms. Jaskiran Kaur, was all praise for the painstaking efforts put in by the students and their coach as well. Mr. Navjot Singh, the Director of the academy, congratulated the winners on their grand success saying,” It is really a proud moment for the academy as its students have not only made their presence felt at the national level but also stunned their opponents by proving themselves knack of the game. The President, S. Harminder Singh, expressed his gratification over this unparalleled performance of the students.
